By using this website or submitting an enquiry or enrolment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit an enrolment.

Programmes are open to individuals aged 18 and above. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Service Description

Embertide provides educational programmes in small-enterprise finance literacy. All programmes are educational in nature and do not constitute accounting, financial, tax, or legal advice. Participants are encouraged to engage appropriately licensed professionals for any advice specific to their circumstances.

Programmes are delivered in person at our studio in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, and via peer discussion forum where applicable. Programme availability is subject to demand and cohort scheduling.

4. Enrolment and Payment

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. Programme fees are as listed on the website at the time of enquiry. Fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of all materials described in the programme listing.

Cancellation by participant: Cancellations made more than 14 calendar days before the programme start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 14 days of the programme start date are not eligible for a refund but may be transferred to a future cohort run subject to availability.

Cancellation by Embertide: In the event that Embertide cancels a programme, enrolled participants will receive a full refund or may elect to transfer to the next available run.

6. Intellectual Property

All content produced by Embertide — including session materials, printed readers, workbooks, and website content — is the intellectual property of Embertide. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use programme materials for your own personal educational purposes.

You may not reproduce, share, sell, or distribute Embertide materials in any form without prior written permission. This restriction applies to both print and digital distribution.

7. Educational Scope and Disclaimers

All Embertide programmes are educational only. Nothing in any session, printed material, or written communication from Embertide constitutes accounting advice, financial advice, tax advice, or legal advice. Embertide facilitators are not licensed accountants, financial planners, or legal practitioners in their capacity at Embertide.

Programme content is prepared in good faith using publicly available information. Embertide does not warrant that session content reflects the most current regulatory position at the time of the session. Participants should verify any regulatory information with appropriate licensed professionals.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Embertide's liability to any participant or website user is limited to the amount paid for the relevant programme. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from attendance at our programmes or use of our materials.

Embertide is not responsible for decisions made by participants based on programme content. Any financial, business, or legal decisions remain the sole responsibility of the individual concerned.

9. Termination

Embertide reserves the right to remove a participant from a programme without refund if the participant's conduct is disruptive, disrespectful to other participants, or in breach of these Terms & Conditions. Participants may withdraw from a programme at any time subject to the cancellation terms in Section 4.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent revision was made. Continued use of our website or enrolment in our programmes following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
